Planning Information


All reservations should go through the Feinberg School of Medicine Catering Office at (312) 503-7751. Please be sure that the room is reserved through the building where your event is held and that the proper amount of tables and chairs are requested for your event. If you are uncertain about the number and types of equipment needed, please consult your Event Planner. If the event is being held in your office or building, room reservations should be handled through your department.

Determining Your Catering Needs

The guide is only that – a guide. If you do not know what you are looking for, please feel free to consult an Event Planner. We can assist you with your menu planning and come up with custom menus to fit any event.


When you schedule your event with us you will be asked to give us an estimate of the number of people that will be attending. We will require that you provide us with a guaranteed number of attendees three (3) working days before your event. This is the number that you will be billed for. This number may increase within those three days, but it cannot decrease.


University Department charges will be charged directly to your CUFS account. You will need to have your account number available at the time of booking. Any questions concerning your bill should be directed to the Feinberg School of Medicine Catering Office at (312) 503-7751.

Cancellation Policy

There is no charge for any event canceled at least three (3) days in advance. After you have given the guarantee you will be held responsible for all applicable fees.

Specialty Items

We can provide a number of other services such as: flowers, balloons, linens, ice carvings and special rental equipment. All these services carry their own charges, so please consult an Event Planner for specific costs.

Delivery Charges

For catered events there is a delivery charge of $20.00. This covers the delivery, set-up and pick-up. Please establish set-up and pick-up times so that we do not tie up the room longer than necessary. $10.00 for the drop off service. $10.00 for restocking.
